Seasonal Workers

In 2002 the previous government, the one Conservatives enjoy blaming for everything that they say is  wrong with Canada, changed the UI rulings on hours worked. Since then that sweet crossing guard that ensures the safety of your precious little mall rat can no longer collect UI during the summer months.

Yes good taxpayer all this because of your whining. Oh, and did you know that they cannot collect because they are short 5 hours. Most of those who do this job are either seniors augmenting a lousy government pension or wives who have elected to earn a few bucks to help the family pay the bills.

Oh yes! These people pay UI premiums but they cannot collect. That is just one seasonal worker. Now the Conservatives want to stick it to the fathers of those little loved ones.
