  1. I've been watching the news clips of the Quebec " casserole" protests.
They look very much like the hard working middle class families our governments always claims to represent. Perhaps there is good cause for alarm not represented in the caption attached to the cartooned cliche above.

  2. It is my understanding that the "casserole" protests across Canada were organized by the "occupy movement" who believe in peaceful protest and civil disobedience. The various political parties of North America should have cause for alarm. They pay no heed to the working and middle classes while imposing "their will" and that of the large corporations on the people. It is only a matter of time before the masses stand up and say "No more".

Fortunately we, in the free World, have the "right to vote". Unfortunately there is a growing feeling of frustration amongst many voters that their vote doesn't change anything so they choose not to exercise that right.

To add to the frustration we had the illegal activities of "robo-calls" during the last election and now the Conservatives are trying to suppress the investigation. It begs the question "If you are not guilty of something why try to prevent the seeking of the truth"?

I am not a card carrying member of any party nor do I contribute to any of them, by staying neutral I felt I would not be targeted by any one group. Now I find out that Elections Canada is telling all parties how I cast my vote and for which party. Fortunately I have voted blue, red and green over the last several years so they know I vote my own mind and not their party propaganda.

During the last election I did not hear from the Conservatives, the Leberals or the Green but .... I did hear from the NDP .... go figure.
