Can Anyone Help Ivan?

My gang was over for Labor day celebrations advance warning of my 6? birthday. LOL. Saw this icky spider in one of our flowers. Maybe you experts can identify it.

    It might be a Harbinger spider.
    They occur more frequently just prior to major changes in circumstances such as the purging of an evil, hence the name.

    Hahahaha, that' funny.

    It's Argiope aurantia (female), otherwise known as the Black-and-Yellow Garden spider. According to the Spiders of Toronto booklet, it's Toronto's unofficial spider.
