Banned in Australia and the USA - Huawei operates in Canada

The former head of U.S. counter-espionage says the Harper government is putting North American security at risk by allowing a giant Chinese technology company to participate in major Canadian telecommunications projects.

Huawei and ZTE Corporation are the two largest telecommunications companies in China and have been linked to Cyber espionage and the theft of intellectual property from Canadian, American and Australian corporations as well as European firms. Still the Harper Government allows them to operate here.

This Conservative Government, with their lust for selling oil, are jeopardizing Canada's security while bedding down with a country who has human rights and espionage issues. They are rapidly offending our allies and Commonwealth partners by their actions ....
