Trumpeter swans of Burlington

Hello Bob,

On a recent walk at the Lasalle Park Marina in Burlington, we discovered
a flock of Trumpeter swans right on the beach.

We learned that people regularlly come to see and feed these birds
Living in Burlington, we did not know of this attraction.
It's an awesome sight to see.

Thanks Joe Y.... I often see pairs during the summer when I frequent the shores of Lake Ontario.

  1. I noticed that at least two of the birds carried the yellow plastic tags indicating their connection to the successful Wye Marsh reintroduction breeding programme. Nice story.
    Cheers, EB
