Posting on CRUSH

We live in an age where our elected government is far more beholden to corporate interests than any government in Canadian history. We live in an age where science is suppressed in favour of neocon Straussian phoilosophy. We live in an age where the wishes of the average Canadian for a job, clean air and water and a future for their children is potentially viewed as subversive. We live in an age where the PM is an emperor de facto, afforded the luxuries and kowtowing such a position demands. We live in the beginning of a dark age, where scientific knowledge is disparaged and driven back decades, or centuries; where people are increasingly pressured to work more and more for less and less; where unions are vilified when they try to improve the lives of their members; where corporations are allowed to pick and choose the lowest possible wage group to do their manual labour; where people are on the cusp of going into desperate debt to provide health care for their loved ones. In short, we have regressed to a Dickensian world where the poor may as well rot in work-houses and prisons, and those who can keep a job can look forward to soul-crushing poverty lest their job be taken by a foreign worker who will work for even less... And I believe in immigration, but that has been so perverted by the CPC that the TFW program is just an indentured work program...
