Roz was a very talented crafts-person who made a wide array of decorative and celebratory keepsakes and would gift them to family members on special occasions. Christmas was one of those times. As a result we have a heritage Christmas tree that Pat puts up each year. The tree contains many old decorations and collectibles some of which are Roz's handy-crafts.
Each December we have a family and friends gathering in celebration of the coming season. Pat, being extremely creative and talented in a variety of crafts decided one year that she would make a special gift for the adult attendees. Well as you can imagine it has got out of hand. It all began with crocheted tree decorations and as time progressed the ideas have become more complex and difficult to come up with.
The party consists of 1st cousins, 1st cousins once removed, 2nd cousins and of course close friends. Oh! Lets not forget their children as well. You can imagine how much work this is for Pat. Well this year she has engaged me in the program.
Here is this years gift.....
A crocheted frame with a black and white photo imprinted on a card and set in the frame. It should be a fun addition to the past crafts. My duties have been to do the cutouts on the computer, convert the photo to black and white and then print them on round disks for easy cutout and insertion into the frames.
Footnote: For those family members who read my blog shut the "Fuddle Duddle Up"
