Riddle me this ??????

Why did the poor people  -- the struggling tax payer --  pay for the rich people -- Harper & his entourage --
to visit Israel  for a week ???  and why did the Harper Government give the Palestinians 66 million
dollars when Canada reported a very, very  dismal December 2013  jobs report  ??? which is contributing
to the sky-rocketing unemployment rate across Canada ????

I just can not figure this out !  Can anyone answer this riddle ???

Thanks Joe Y.... after all the controversy about his pandering to Israel he decided to do the same with the Palestinians and try to impress everyone that he is not bias.
