Fukushima Sam the mutant Cardinal of Nutley NJ

I shot these pictures of a mutated Cardinal at the request of Ken and Dot. They had seen the bird several times and were unsure as to what it was.

The beak is mutated as well as its feather colouring, there are white spots on its wings and back. Its song is also mutated. It appears to otherwise happy yet undeterred by the presence of humans or other birds.

Sam has probably been drinking water from the Passaic River.
