F.Y.I Harper pulled 'a less then 24 hour' notice to announce the official event at the convention centre, http://bit.ly/1fGGtKZ the media release was late last night in order to deliberately keep many people uninformed....because they know the numbers will come out, so that gave us less then 24 hours to create a facebook event page and get the word out through social media. We worked our butts off, So these souls who braved the freezing cold on a Saturday night, all came together very quickly, spread the word, made signs and brought their spirit in full force! Keep building momentum Canada! -DSee More

Canadian scientists speak out on the Harper government muzzling, destruction of books and scientific research being burned... and thrown into trash bins.

Huffington Post - "The massacre was done quickly, with no record keeping and no attempt to preserve the material in universities. Scientists said precious collections were consigned to dumpsters, were burned or went to landfills.

Many Canadian scientists have compared the war on environmental science to the rise of fascism in 1930s Europe. Hutchings muses, "you look at the rise of certain political parties in the 1930s and have to ask how could that happen and how did they adopt such extreme ideologies so quickly, and how could that happen in a democracy today?" -Capt Trevor Greene, War veteran, Best-Selling Author http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/capt-trevor-greene/science-cuts-canada_b_4534729.html
