Felix Baumgartner's View

We held our breath when Felix Baumgartner jumped from the edge of space on October 12, 2012, falling to Earth from an altitude of 24.2 miles. Now we can see the fall from Baumgartner’s point of view. The footage shows the daredevil being coached by his mentor, Joe Kissinger, Jr., as he steps out of the balloon. “I wish you could see what I can see,” Baumgartner says. “Sometimes, you have to be up really high to understand how small you are.” Then he salutes, says, “I’m coming home now,” and leans out.
