A Conservative party lawyer sat in on interviews with political staffers who allege that former campaign worker Michael Sona advised them of his participation in an election day robocall that sent opposition supporters in Guelph, Ont., to the wrong polling station.
The witnesses, all young Conservative staffers on Parliament Hill, told investigators “that Michael Sona, in the period shortly after Election Day, advised several of his acquaintances of participation in the false calls made to Guelph electors,” according to a court document.
