The GI files

I snoop around this site at times in hope of gaining some insight
from opinions not generally expressed in our media.
As well as being a time consuming morass
it can yield a little bit of enlightment on occasion.
Cheers, EB

Thanks Ed..... very interesting to see and read the other sides views and I would venture to say ..... propaganda however if you read the articles with an open mind it gives one some insight into their mindset as well.... of course you realize that CSIS is monitoring this site as well and I assure you they are documenting the people who view the site .... I have told the story of my son in law and how he was networking with a devout Muslim as they job searched .... turns out CSIS was monitoring the fellow and Andy was called and directed to meet with CSIS agents NOW .... they wanted to know why they were in contact and advised Andy to cease talking with the fellow ..... Andy already has security clearance but continuing with this person may compromise it they told him .... pretty scary s#!t when everyone is a CSIS target

  1. Is it now possible to be accused of an offence for what one thinks or believes rather than only for what one does or plans on doing.

It whould beg the question from WW 11 veterans
"why was that war fought" and "have we changed sides"

    Cheers, EB.

    1. Unfortunately we are seeing a rapid erosion of our rights and freedoms under this Conservative government. Everything they are saying, doing and implementing follows the Bush administration "Fear Factor' politicing. If one reflects on the re-election of Bush in 2004 the US was under terror alert almost once a week prior to the election to enforce the idea that it was only the Republicans that could stop terrorism.

Once the election was over so were the terror alerts.

Our government is now attempting to instill the same fears in the minds of Canadians.
