The news is constantly warning us about Russian interference in the election of Donald Trump and now they and CSIS are warning Canadians to beware of Russian bots interfering in the 2019 election.
I know and understand you may feel this is a fairy tail but the statistics you see above are from the tracker program on the blog. Take note of the number of page views in one week alone to the blog by Russia, Russia associated countries and now from an "Unknown Region".
The Russians have been visiting the site since they decided to back Trump and their visits spiked during the campaign and started to decline immediately after his election. Suddenly they are spiking as Canada enters an election year. What are they looking for? I would venture a guess the hackers and bots want to know Canadian sentiment so they can create negative news and meme's to sway our elections.
Now we have the "Unknown Region" which is new to the tracker this year and even my other two high tech trackers are unable to identify who it is. I will reserve final judgement but will say this "China no longer is showing up on the 3 trackers" Can you say Hmmm".
