Sad truly sad to see the return of Nazi attitudes creeping in to Canadian politics

That’s right. Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper congratulated his “good friend” on winning — and potentially elevating a Neo-Nazi party to power.

But he wasn’t the only one. Anti-LGBTQ Alberta Conservative Party candidate and notorious Harper Conservative Jason Kenney is also a close friend of Kurz and rushed to congratulate him on his victory:

Right-wing parties across Europe are gaining momentum and strength by pledging to attack immigrants and refugees from war-torn countries.
Austria is just the latest casualty, as voters selected 31-year-old Sebastian Kurz’s People’s Party as their top choice in recent legislative elections. This is the first time in recent history that a far-right party in Austria has won the most seats.
In order to form government, many are speculating Kurz will strike a deal with an extremist party founded by a man the Guardian described as having a “neo-Nazi background”:
The Vienna-born politician will probably be tasked with forming the next government, potentially in coalition with the FPÖ, a far-right party founded by a former Nazi functionary and SS member after the second world war.
