Bobby Darin - "Judy, Don't Be Moody"

This song conjures up a fond memory of my youth. Willy Jensen and I went to the "Sock Hop" at the United Church on 6th Avenue in Verdun with my cousin Joyce and her girlfriend Kathy.

Believe it or not the only reason that Kathy's parents would allow her to go was if I went with them. Go figure???

While at the dance they played this song and from across the hall my eye caught this gorgeous young woman dancing..... I fell in love instantly.... I had to dance with her, the next waltz I crossed the floor and asked her, she accepted.... unfortunately 1/2 the 6th Avenue boys took offence and ganged up on Willy and I..... love lost but a lifetime memory.
