Make no
mistake the conflict in the Middle East is a religious war between Sunni and
Shi’ite Muslims, the Christian World and Hebrews.
For Muslims it began in the 6th
century with the death of Mohammed and the different view of who should be his
successor. For Christians it began in the 6th century with their
quest to liberate “The Holy Land” from the barbaric Muslims. For Hebrews it is
the “Promised Land”.
Sunni’s are
the majority group with about 80 to 85 percent of the World’s Muslims while Shi’ite
are the remainder. There are other smaller groups however it is difficult to
determine exact numbers since the majority of states such as Saudi Arabia,
Kuwait and Yemen are under Sunni control and there is no interest in the
numbers. Iran is the only state with a Shi’ite majority.
The quest to
liberate “The Birth Place of Christianity” started with the first crusade in
the 6th century and has continued ever since, with Jerusalem being
considered the most Holy of cities and the origin of religion.
All three
religious groups lay claim to Jerusalem.
The 21st
century problems have been exasperated and compounded not only by the influx of
displaced European Jew’s who landed in “The Promised Land”, but by a lust for
oil and corporate greed. In today’s World it is corporations and lobbyists who
dictate government thought and policy.
The weapons
and munitions industry has a vested interest in the continuation of conflict.
The ISLAMIC
STATE is nothing more than a cult similar to a Christian Doomsday Cult. Both
interpret their religious doctrines to suit their own cause; neither is truly
representative of their claimed religion.
The real
problem for a solution is the promotion of fear, hate and ignorance by all
sides of the issue as they each try to oppress and degrade one another.
Be part of
the solution rather than a source of the problem; educate yourself and stop the
lies.
