The lies never end, if it is not about robocalls it is about employment statistics, if it is not about the failed economy it is about their fantasy war on IS.

They lied to Canadians about our ships being buzzed by the Russians, they lied when they told Canadians that America asked them to participate in the bombing of IS and now they are lying to Canadians about their extending the bombing mission into Syria by telling the people of Canada that the mission is legal.
IT IS NOT LEGAL
Three experts told The Hill Times that the Canadian air strikes will not have international legal authority, despite Mr. Kenney’s claim legal authority for the unilateral air strikes is provided under the state self defence section of the post-Second World War United Nations Charter.
“It’s illegal. No one can say it’s legal. It’s crazy,” said human rights and civil liberties lawyer Paul Champ of Ottawa, who has also taught international law at Carleton University.
“In particular, given that it’s clearly a controversial position, that this kind of action would be consistent with international law, that it’s definitely on the edge, you would think they would want to get the best legal advice possible or at least solicit more than one opinion,” said Mr. Champ.
“The self defence authorization under the UN Charter has a very specific legal task and there has to be necessity and the threat to the country has to be instant an overwhelming. It’s basically if we see a ship off our shores that’s about to shoot missiles at Halifax, or we know that it’s coming across the Atlantic to shoot missiles at Halifax, then we could go out and bomb that ship,” Mr. Champ said.
