Tri-fifties Chevy chop top
This 1956 Chevy 210 series was originally a 2 door post and has had the roof chopped off to look like a convertible. The tri-fifties, '55 to '57 came in 3 models, with the base being the 150 and coming in 2 and 4 door post. The next model up was the 210 (shown) which was available in 2 door and 4 door post as well as a hardtop version. The top of the line was the Belair which was available in 2 door and 4 door post, 2door and 4 door hardtop and of course the convertible.
This is a 1956 Chev Belair 2 door hardtop very clean with a leather interior. The engine and transmission have been replaced by an anemic four banger and standard shift. The vast majority of classics have gone this route and are used as taxi's.
While we didn't travel to every nook and cranny of Cuba the one car I did not see, of any pre-59 vintage was the Lincoln.
