HI BOB,

HAVE A GOOD DAY BOB
NORMAND SIMARD
I remember it well. One story comes to mind whenever I think of or drive by that spot on Taschereau. Sometime in the sixties a bunch of us "Parkers" were sitting around having a few barley sandwiches when the then owner Larry Moquin approached our table and asked how things were going. As you may know, Larry was, along with Johnny Rougeau, one of the most popular professional wrestlers to appear regularly on the card each Wednesday night, live at "La lutte au forum" which was also telecast live in the fifties.Moquin and Rougeau were always the good guys ,unlike "Killer" Kowalski and "Yukon" Eric. One of the fellows at our table asked how Larry enjoyed his pro career and Larry replied " I loved it, I made a lot of money, and in 20 years was never injured once," all the while jokingly shaking his head as if he had Parkinson's disease. The whole table busted up and Larry moved on but also sent over a round on the house. JMcC
Thanks John McC and Normand
