After ten years of oppressive, negative politics from the previous government Canada is returning to its once positive and hopeful place on the World stage.
That being
said even I, who despised the Harper fascists, am getting annoyed with all this
positive feeling.
Come on
people the ugliness of the past ten years is still lurking beneath the surface
of all this love and hope we are feeling. The ghost of conservative hatred and
negativity may have tempered with their defeat but it is still trying to
destroy everything that real Canadians stand for.
The lies and
innuendo are still there. The manipulation of truth and fact are still being
promoted on social media. The Main Stream Media and the so called power people,
the 1 percenters are still trying to undo our social umbrella.
As I sit and
watch the "boob tube" advertisements promoting the need for
supplemental health insurance are on the increase as are advertisements for
reverse mortgages, what does this tell you?
It tells me
that Canadian seniors are in deep trouble. It tells me that medicare is in deep
trouble..... it tells me that our government is betraying it's people. It is
cheaper for the masses to pay taxes to provide social programs than it is for
individuals to obtain private insurance that is subject to conditions and
restrictions of usage.

Trudeau and the Liberals must put an end to the growing corporate influence
that is attacking our social umbrella and insure that Canadians in all walks of
life have access to health care that is of the highest standards and that
seniors do not have to jeopardize their final years by reverse mortgaging the
home they worked so hard to pay for.
