Hello Everyone:
I am able to have a bit of computer time. Got out of the hospital Tuesday, it has been a rough road, very uncomfortable buthopefully this will be it. I am really tired of doctors and hospitals.
As some of you may know, at the end of April I underwent surgery to remove a tumour on my appendix, along with my appendix and they also took out 2 inches of colon. Was just starting to feel good when I went for the mandatory followup and the doc said I had to be readmitted so on the 29th of May, I went under the knife again and they removed 2 feet of my colon. Seems like they did not get all the cancer the first time. This should do it, and I will be in fighting form most definitely by September, already booked in any event.
I was so sorry that I could not join you all in London recently but just too much going on and too risky with a slight complication from the first surgery to take the chance.
Now I have to concentrate to learning how and what to eat, never had that problem before, and re-educating my body to process everything, but all is good, and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in September.
Thinking of you all
Heather Hubbard Cooper
Thanks Heather .... we're all pulling for you
