Eskom Liedjie /Eskom Song

A chuckle ?!...............well, Eskom, the sole electricity service provider in South Africa is holding the public to ransom once again because they want another price hike. Their idea of doing this is through "load-shedding", threatening the consumers at home.  I say, what have they been doing all these years with their time that they now need to suddenly, again before they demand a price hike, to load shed due to needed repairs and maintenance, so they say.  Why wasn't maintenance and repairs done on an ongoing basis for the last 19 years? What happened to the 160ML US$ provided to them by the US for building another reactor?  If any load needs to be shed I think it's the top brass at Eskom with their over-bulging salaries and their incompetence to keep services flowing at a reasonable rate.  I hate public being blackmailed into having to pay more! Now look at the movie - it's with English subtitles - but quite true and funny.

Meanwhile electricity is being given to neighboring countries at discounted prices as well as to industry - Eishhhhhhh and they (Eskom) are not accountable to anyone, even for donors funds?  I am outraged!
