Harper among least trusted in the America's

Now that is really worrisome when one considers all the countries in the America's that have , what we in Canada would consider to be untrustworthy governments, it begs the question where has he and his party gone wrong.

It is one thing for me to keep bashing him, after all I am Canadian and that is my gawd given right. In my opinion it stems from his penchant for negativity in ad's as well as the verbal attacks on opposition, environmentalists and their handling of budgets.

Their crisis response is also a negative in the trust Canadians would and should have for the party, a good example is their response and handling of the XL Foods situation, the G20, the F-35 and the list goes on and on. Now they have decided to blindly jump into bed with China despite the collective distrust Canadians have for the way China does business and their spying on Canadian Industry and governments.

The constant news releases and advertisements telling Canadians how well their "Action Plan is working when the majority of Canadians can see that it is not. Or could it be electoral cheating, robocalls or a failure to punish the idiots in the party, oh sorry that would be everyone including Harper.

The pollster suggests that Canadians' cynicism of politics is the result of the constant bickering we saw during the minority governments between 2004 and 2011.

But former Liberal MP Dan McTeague says the Harper government's post-minority antics are also to blame.

"Given the Conservative's penchant for vicious negative ads, in and out of campaign periods and high handed partisanship in the House and Senate, legitimized by angry right wing talk show formats — they have only themselves to blame," he told Yahoo! Canada News.

"Conservatives and their allies in the media feed on and exploit the negative. It's a zero sum strategy that in order to win you play and thrive on the public's cynicism, confident in the knowledge Canada's right wing media won't dare bite the hand that feeds them."

A manager is judged not only by his/her performance but by the people she/he surrounds themself with. If Stephen Harper has a low trust rating it is because of poor performance by those around him and by his own failures.
