Credit Card Services

The phone rings. I answer and am greeted with an automated sweet voice:

“I’m calling from Card Services and there are no problems currently with your account, however it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates. Please press 9 to talk with a representative.”
I pressed 9 to talk with a representative. A man with a foreign accent answered quickly and loudly saying, “Did you press 9 to get a lower rate on your credit card?”
I replied, “No, I pressed 9 to tell you to STOP CALLING ME.”
He replied with, “F**k You, Motherf**ker!”
I replied with a similar salutation.
For some reason our call got disconnected, which was a shame because I wasn’t completely done chatting with the fellow. Oh well.
