Elsie Vernon Goldthorp (Steele) passed away peacefully on May 17, 2012 in Almonte, Ontario-at the age of 91. She was the precious mother and mother-in-law of Freda and Spencer Sutton, Patricia Andersen and Leslie Jackson; grandmother of Timothy Sutton (Elena Frantova), Peder Andersen (Rebecca), and Erik Andersen; great-grandmother of Nika Elsie Sutton; aunt of the late Fred Thomas (Jean), Vernon Thomas (Phyllis), Norman Thomas (Frances), Lorna Muccio (Primo), George Steele, Jane Wiseman (Barry), Wayne Goldthorp (Donna), Derek Goldthorp, Edith Cook, Kenneth Cook (Anna), and the late James Cook.
We love and cherish you forever-and will always remember your big heart and spirited love of life!
