The original draw bridge went off at right angle to the small island in the background

The theory was that attacking forces would have their sheild in the left hand and their right side would be exposed to the archers

 The ducks follow you around in the hopes of being fed

 My taxi... it is a hell of a long walk from the entrance up a hill and around the moat to get to the entrance of the castle

It is closing time and they are putting my taxi away

a storm is coming and they refuse to drive me back to the entrance

A WWII pill box

The rain has started and I am not even half way to the entrance/exit

All hell breaks loose, the wind picks up and had to be 70 plus miles an hour

Damn near blew Herbie and I over

I got behind that tree for protection then thought "What the hell are you doing fool"?

It's safer in the open.

I have never been so wet in such a short time. The rain stopped as I got in the car.

The front of my clothes were soaked but the back was dry, that just shows you how strong the wind was and how sustained it was that the rain never hit my back.
