Maxime Bernier should be ashamed of himself. He can run all the way to the U.S. border and keep going for all I care....
Oh, yes, he’s raising $50,000 for the local food bank. Maybe he should stand up for the residents of his riding who need to go to the food bank because they have no jobs. If his government wasn’t so keen on cutting taxes and services, and pushing “for his preferred brand of free-market conservatism and smaller government,” there wouldn’t be a need to raise money for food banks in this country.
“Sound stewards of the economy,” my eye. Cut taxes with one hand and ask people to fork out for charity with the other. Whose pockets does he think this money comes from, anyway?
Conservative MPs, MPPs, MLAs and MNAs across the country constantly lie to us about tax cuts when all they do is penalize the citizens who can least afford it.
