You sure can't trust the Harper governments crime and punishment agenda.... its all talk

Toronto Police arrested an alleged illegal temporary foreign worker recruiter with the help of a concerned Calgarian woman who carried out an three-month-long investigation after the Harper government failed to take action against the agency accused of swindling more than $1.5 million from unsuspecting clients.

Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) warned Filipino citizens last month about the alleged fraud committed by GoWestJobs run by 46-year-old Oakville woman Imelda Fronda Saluma, who was arrested with the help of Halton Regional Police on various fraud charges.

Bernadette Boudreault claims that GoWestJobs first came to the attention of the Employment and Social Development Canada more than a year ago, but the department failed to take any action, even after Minister Jason Kenney personally promised her that he’d do so.

“This shows the corruption of program and incredible incompetence of Kenney’s immigration department,” Boudreault said. “And believe it or not I have found links to other major recruiters. This fraud runs deep”
