Zero experience at governing Canada - Baird the Buffoon

The Conservatives, when elected, had zero experience at running a country. And they have proven it in bill after bill.

Was it not Vic Toews and Jason Kenney who claimed 492 Tamil refuge queue jumpers were a danger to Canada's security and that there was no proof they were being persecuted by the Sri Lankan government?

Without providing any evidence, Toews and other government spokesmen have repeatedly said that the MV Sun Sea’s voyage to Canada was likely organized by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) with the aim of infiltrating terrorists into Canada and raising funds. Those on board are said to have paid $40,000 or $50,000 for their passage.

The Conservative government and much of the media insist that this purported security threat requires that Canada’s refugee laws be made still more restrictive.

What a diference three years makes.

Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird has condemned the decision to allow Sri Lanka to host the Commonwealth heads of government meeting in November as "accommodating evil".

I have said it before and I will say it again and again, this government is incompetent.

- They tell the bigots and hate mongers what they think they want to hear.

- They pander to corporations at the expense of the voter.

- They use and abuse taxpayer dollars for their own political advertising.

- They silence the RCMP

- They ridicule those more intelligent than they.

- They are reactive not proactive.

- They fabricate stories then lie about them.

- Their "Action Plan" cost taxpayers rather than help the unemployed.

The snarling of the two men carry no weight because both have little credibility - Stephen Harper has never managed to win a national election in Canada in his own right, and resorts to the anti-democratic practice of proroguing whenever he is about to face difficult questions in Parliament; Baird is a buffoon, a former provincial politician and ‘wannabe’ future leader of the Conservatives trying to achieve his aim by kow-towing to the monied Israeli lobby in Canada. The two men, not known for their intelligence or subtlety in international affairs, are the butt of jokes among the Canadian media and bureaucracy.
