Just a note to let you know that Ken Murray Passed away this evening !!
Another Friend and Musician is off to play in the "Real Grand Old Oprey !"
We remember him for his music & performing in many clubs in The Montreal Area and Cowansville !!
Places like The Blue Angel,,The Monteray,,The Mile High Lounge,,The Clover,,The Wagon Wheel,,
And many other Local clubs,,,He even did a couple of shows in the Old Gr. Pk. Youth Center.
We wish Ken A Bon Voyage to his next show,,,and I know that the audience there will be really glad
To have him entertain them,,,and they will really appreciate his Singin' , Pickin', & Grinnin' !!
I really Liked his song,,,"Poor Little Doll,,,You're Too Young For Tears ",,,,,
That was backed up by Leonard Murray & Stan Sheppard,,,with a group of silly friends,,
This is a really great memory ( c. 1961 )
He will probably complain to Saint Peter that those Darn Harps have too many strings,,,and say,,
I'm A-Six-String-Man Pete,,,Come-on & Get me a Gibson or a Martin !!
Our thoughts are with his Family & Friends,,,Peace be with You All !!,,,,& Bye for now Ken !!
