A blatant breach of ethics - Jody Wilson Raybould Site C violates First Nations rights

Federal Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould at the 2012 Paddle for the Peace, claiming that Site C Dam would be a violation of Treaty 8 rights. Four years later, her government is so far ignoring please from First Nations to overturn permits issued by the Harper government on the eve of our recent federal election.

This video from 2012 raises many questions as to Jody Wilson-Rayboulds motivation and motives in refusing the DPA for SNC-Lavelin and the ensuing controversy she and Jane Philpot created for the Prime Minister and the liberal party.

Why this did not come to light earlier is yet another interesting questions as The Tyee ran an article in 2016 containing the video shown above.

By being involved in any political and legal discussion Jody Wilson-Raybould, as Justice Minister and AG, breached both political and law society ethics in my opinion.

While I am not a member of the law society it is my understanding that when one has a personal position on a legal subject/case then that person must recuse themselves to avoid any personal or legal conflict.

Jody Wilson-Raybould did not recuse herself from the SNC-Lavelin case.
