What is the price of a seniors vote?

I am in my 71st year and have been the recipient of CPP and OAS for five years now.

In my first 3 years of receiving OAS RevCan has informed me each year that my OAS has been reduced some 212 dollars as a result of my wife’s earnings yet for the last 2 years they have been silent. It seems that they are hoping that I forget about the imbalance.

Then today I received a GST rebate check for $ 83.30, which is interesting only because I have never applied nor received a rebate check in the past 5 years of retirement.

The only assumption I can come to is that Stephen Harper has put a value of my vote at 83.30 dollars.

Bwaaahahahaha…. Sorry Steve I cashed the check and bought scratch tickets
