As the federal government tries to reduce the countries carbon footprint a rebelious group of small minded premiers, who claim to represent the people, piss away your tax dollars in an attempt to turn you against carbon tax and the Liberal Party.
These men do not have your best interest in mind, like Stephen Harper before them, they answer to corporate demands and the wealthy.
It is your health, your children's future and that of your grandchildren that they are telling you is not in jeopardy. The underlying problem is they know climate change is a problem. They know it is causing health issues. They have known for decades. They also know there is no easy fix but rather than take action greed is dictating their lies.
The Inuit, whose lives and lifestyle are severely threatened, understand the causes and the action required, they have asked and are prepared to sit at the climate change table to find a mutual resolution to the problem, yet conservatives around the world are in a state of denial, to them money is god and to hell with you.
There are engineers and scientists around the World working overtime to find the means to save humankind from self destruction but time is running out rapidly and we the people of the World have to do our part no matter how little it may seem now it will pay off in the future as we give these professionals some time by delaying the progress and reducing GHG's in little steps.
Here is part of an email I received on Tuesday the 11th of June concerning the progress of an ongoing study regarding the revival of my great grandfathers invention of the HAC (Hydraulic Air Compressor).
The present day system was designed and built in the Sudbury area to cool the mines and uses no energy source and requires no general maintenance.
Terry Mandzy, himself an engineer, attended an arranged site review for the surviving members of Charles H. Taylor the inventor and my great grandfather here is his email.....
The Hydraulic Air Compressor (HAC) session was quite inspiring in that one twist to Great Grand's process accommodates a broader range of installation conditions including where the process is entirely above ground. Another kind of twist could allow it to capture and sequester gaseous global warming contaminants such as CO2, or to remove water quality contaminates from mine-tailing ponds etc. The twists are the result of research related to insights and questions that Prof. Dean Millar and his team had about things that didn't seem important to the original installations. Millar has formed a company to obtain financing to continue the research, and has a commitment for one full-scale installation.
I also have a pdf file and a word document describing the project design and the preliminary results which look very promising. Unfortunately blogger won't allow me to post pdf nor paste the drawings from the word document.
The bottom line is that conservatives don't have a plan nor the intent to prepare one so it is up to you and I to stop the Premiers and the CPC from fighting progress with our money and preserve earth for our ancestors
