Millie and I had our thanksgiving turkey late this year .... like last night.
Just thought I'd let you know because as usual I had my mashed " NURNIPS".
LOL

Our good friend Graham Kroll and I were very close in our youth and it carried on after we were both married.
Graham knew my maternal grandfather who lived with us on Gregory and he knew my maternal grandmother who lived with Dave and Roz on Empire.
What graham didn't do was put the two of them together as husband and wife, you see they separated when I was around 12.
Gramps had a speech impediment due to being born with a clef lip and pallet.
As boys Graham and I would mock gramps speech, behind his back of course.
Gramps loved turnips which he pronounced "nurnips"
Well after we were married my grandmother came to live with Pat and I, that first Thanksgiving Graham and Marly came for dinner.
Pat served turnips and I like a fool prompted Graham and he bit.
"I love my nurnips" says he. "Do you love your nurnips Bob"? he asks and giggles.
Nanny looks at him and says "I don't think you're funny making fun of my husband".
Graham looks down the table at me, he,s ready to die and immediately appologizes, Nanny and I burst out laughing and she says "It's OK I just teasing you".
I don't think Graham ever forgave me LOL.
