Read, educate yourself and help end the misinformation

Rafiq Islam Saudi regime is not to be conflated with Islamic regime whatsoever.

In reality, Saudi regime has no Islamic legitimacy whatsoever. Ever since the original Caliphate that was started by prophet Muhammad was dismantled 30 years after his death (marked by the violent death of Caliph Ali in 661, the 4th in a line of 'rightly guided caliphs'). We have an entire section dedicated to this important regime (that catapulted human civilization to unprecedented growth in all aspects of knowledge for 1000 years - ironically the same time span obliterated from all education curriculum in Europe, see more detail in our book on Education, link below) in our books, ranging from Social science to Engineering.

Apart from the 40 years of legitimate Caliphate (621-661), no regime has moral authority to implement Shariah that requires the enforcing regime to be legitimately positioned in power. There are two exceptions in history. One was Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz who resigned from his inherited Caliphate but was re-elected based on Shariah based process (that requires the leader to be most righteous) and another one is Ibn Zubair, who established Caliphate around Mecca and ruled for 10 years before the entire regime was massacred ruthlessly that included thousands of women and men (today we think this mass murders are recent phenomena!)

Now, it is also prediction of the prophet that Dajjal (known as anti-Christ in the west) and Mahdi, who will pave the way for Jesus' return (known as Jesus' second coming in the west). It's a complicated topic but I would sum it up: when Dajjal and Mahdi do arrive, vast majority of cultural Muslims will follow the bad guy (Dajjal), who would have an imposing and compelling personality. Mahdi (the good leader, who will pave the way to Jesus and will kill Dajjal, the bad guy) will be supported by very few cultural Muslims, as per prophet's prophecy. Without going into details, let's say this: a real Islamic state (something that Mahdi and Jesus will establish) has a lot more reason to be upset about the comparison with Saudi Arabia than other way around.
