It is interesting to note that Stephen harper, as a founding member of the Northern Foundation, opposed Nelson Mandela and supported apartheid. In 2001 Harpers puppet bigot Rob Anders was chastised by Jean Chretien for his opposition to Mandela being named an honourary citizen of Canada.......

Prime Minister Jean Chrtien called an Alberta Alliance MP "stupid" Thursday for preventing the House of Commons from making Nelson Mandela an honorary Canadian citizen. The MP, Rob Anders, shouted "no" Wednesday when the Speaker asked if everyone agreed with the motion.
But it was other words later attributed to Anders that drew Chrtien's ire.
