When 15 years old I caught a large brook trout in the lower pool while fishing from above
The lake in front of the cottage. Originally Mikes grandfather built the dam 60 years ago and as a boy I would travel up north with him and his son Duncan to help build it. A heavy rainfall wiped it out several years ago and Mike and family rebuilt it in honour of Uncle George, their grandfather.
