The other day, I was getting out of the shower with my hair dripping - which apparently, I still have in abundance.
I would say that I have a lot a dark hair, but the "gray" is slowly winning the battle.
I also like my showers hot, so the bathroom cabinet mirror tends to fog-up some what. After drying myself off, I wiped off the cabinet mirror, leaving the mirror a bit streaky. As I combed my hair, I noticed a dark short hair stuck to my cheek, it happens -- the skin is a bit damp and hairs tend to transfer from the towel to stick on the face.
So I tried to gently pull this one dark hair from my face -- it didn't come off, I tried again and it still did not come off. I moved my face closer to the mirror and realized.....that's not a hair.... that's a wrinkle.... a deep, pronounced one at that ! Where the hell did that come from ? I don't remember this wrinkle the week or month before. I know that I have some "gently-aged wrinkling " that has
developed over time, but this one was carved into my cheek in no time at all. What's up with that ?? I am a "senior-in-wating", only nine months to go before it's official (by Government standards). What's next may I ask ?
Where is the face that I once knew ???
Thanks Joe Y
