What the Hell do you want Ontario

Election day is rapidly approaching here in Ontario.... we, the voters have a decision to make

Do we want a slash and dump Government

Or

Do we want a supply and tax Government

That's right folks, do you want a Government who slashes services and dumps them on municipalities who, because their only source of revenue is property tax will raise your tax

OR

Do you want a Government that will keep the services you insist on having but tax you for those services.

We Canadians are lucky if we want a service, we get that service and we are taxed accordingly.

That works for me, but then we have a group of whiners and complainers that say forget it, stop the tax grab, let free enterprise take over.

Really? Lets look at a US family of 4 whose employer has been paying their medical insurance for the past 10 years. The cost of the corporate package is between 800 and 1200 dollars per month.

Who pays that? The consumer. The corporation has to recoup their investment in their employee so they build it into their pricing.

Now if they go outside the US... say to China or India... what the hell they don't have to worry about medicare and the health and safety of their employees

Mom develops breast cancer.

The insurer has a maximum coverage limit.

Dad gets laid off

Their insurance gets cancelled.

They try to find another company but because mom has a previously diagnosed health problem they are refused and/or they must sign a form exempting the new insurer from providing insurance to mom.

In other words the family MUST sign moms death warrant.

We, on the other hand pay a minimum up-charge in our taxes NOT to kill our mothers.

Privatization, that is the road we are headed down.

Did you know that there are people, within the insurance industry, that are paid a bonus every time they reject your claim.


Whats your choice Ontario?? Mom or Taxes?
