FACT -There is no spending problem. - There is a LACK OF REVENUE problem.

FACT -
For Ontario, for Alberta, for all of Canada :
There is no spending problem.
There is a LACK OF REVENUE problem.

Lying and imposing austerity cannot hide the truth.

Large corporations, and the very wealthy are NOT PAYING THEIR SHARE. They are using every tactic possible, in full co-operation and assistance of governments, to move their finances off shore to avoid taxation, to minimize costs, to maximize profits, using people as a disposable resource, while making full use of the public funded infrastructures, assets, resources, work force, and controls, while pitting one person against another. 

And we let them. 

We vote in governments that create the mechanisms to let them, to help them, to encourage them, to lie to us about it.

The result is vast disparity, and all the social ills, and anger, and backlash that comes with that. 

It is fascism rising. 

If there needs to be "othering", and propaganda, perhaps it's time that fingers be pointed at the real problem - those governments that we elect and permit to help destroy us - one piece of legislation, one policy at a time. Our governments are not serving us so much as serving us up to servitude. 

When people realize their power, when they pick up the phone, power up their email, begin acting and expressing their outrage, begin visiting their elected representative's office, maybe then things will change. Until then, the slide will continue.
