Andrew Scheer Flees Reporters When Questioned About Ties to Far-Right Rebel Media
New connections between Conservative leader Andrew Scheer and the far-right media outlet Rebel Media are raising concerns that the Conservative Party is more connected to the far-right than previously believed.
The Rebel Media is a well-known alt-right right outlet, publishing stories attacking gays, Muslims, and spewing white supremacist hatred.
Andrew Scheer has appeared on Rebel Media at least two times, both during his leadership race. His campaign manager Hamish Marshall was also listed as a director of Rebel Media while running Andrew Scheer’s leadership campaign.
Marshall denied any involvement with Rebel during his time on Scheer’s campaign.
But new information proves that’s not true.
New allegations are shedding light on the close connection between Scheer, Hamish Marshall and the Rebel Media. And that’s got Andrew Scheer worried.
