Conservatives punishing Canadians to meet their objectives.

Today Jim Flaherty announced that if America did not smarten up the Conservatives would punish working class Canadians and Public Works so that they could buy down their failed Action Plan deficit.

The Conservatives insist they want to return to a balanced budget, at your expense, by 2015 so that they can say "Look Canada we balanced  the budget". All this in the hopes you will forget that it was their mismanagement that created the deficit.

Let Canadians not forget that it was the Harper government that squandered the surplus they were left by the previous government. And that was prior to the economic crash. Then to add insult to injury they squandered billions in Action Plan dollars in payback to their various supporters.

Slow Canadian economic growth means the government will have lower revenues than initially forecast in drawing up the next budget and some ministries may need to cut spending further, Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Friday.

Shame on a party that promised Canadians change from the status quo. Remember Canada it was the Conservatives who lowered the GST by 2 percentage points. I do not believe that the 2% made any difference in the spending habits of Canadian nor that it put more money in their pocket ... so if their revenues are down it is NOT our fault .... "it is theirs"
