John McC on Ralph's bird siting

Hi Bob. In answer to Ralph's query re his bird sighting ,it could be a hawk owl--seriously-- the birder column in our local Ottawa Citizen has reported sightings of this owl with some Hawk features in the Ottawa area ,a bit of a rarity, and had a couple of photos of one last  weekend and it looks very similar to Ralphs photos.
