An evening at The Moulin Rouge

Getting there from our hotel was half the fun of visiting this historic nightclub. As I said earlier transportation systems in Paris are amongst the most efficient and easiest to navigate. All you really need to know is your destination stop. We were very lucky, the staff at the front desk were well informed and very informative.

There was only one transfer point for the trip to the Moulin Rouge, which by the way was the longest Metro trip of our visit. The Metro station is simply one block from the nightclub and while it is a working class district, for both women and men to ply their trade, we never felt pressure from the professionals.

The show is fun, very colourful and not too risque for our Canadian innocents. In other words there was nothing a 14 year old hasen't seen when peeking at his sisters girlfriend.
