Pastor Fluff

The Reverend John Fluff was the pastor in a small town in Ireland.
One day he was walking down the high street when he noticed a young lady of his congregation sitting in a pub drinking beer.
The Reverend wasn't happy. He walked through the open door of the Pub and sat down next to the woman.
"Miss Fitzgerald," he said sternly, "this is no place for a member of my congregation. Why don't you let me take you home?"
"Sure!" she said with a slur, obviously very drunk.
When Miss Fitzgerald stood up from the bar, she began to weave back and forth.
The Reverend realized that she'd had far too much to drink and grabbed her arms to steady her. When he did, they both lost their balance and tumbled to the floor. After a few moments, the Reverend wound up on top of Miss Fitzgerald, her skirt hiked up to her waist.
The pub landlord looked over and said, "Oy mate, we won't have any of that carrying on in this pub!"
The Reverend looked up at the landlord and said, "But you don't understand… I'm Pastor Fluff."
The landlord said, "Ah well, if you're that far in, ye might as well finish!"

So the Conservatives claim employment success

We already know that the Conservative "Economic Action Plan" didn't work, it did finance the "friends of Conservatives" to the tune of some 60 million dollars in annoying advertisements.

For the coming 3 months I would like to point out that "Stats Can" and the Conservatives will, in tandem, brag about their success in creating jobs across Canada. Really.....

The fact is fellow Canadians that we are first and foremost entering the "seasonal worker" season that Diane Finley is attacking. Second, it is peak construction season, again seasonal workers..... and then we have the hot dog/burger stands that are also seasonal .... but the Harper bozo's will take credit for the surge in employment.

And Target will be opening their stores starting in April. Their hires are part time or what is otherwise known as "precarious positions" with no benefits and no security.

This is your Harper government at work for business.

The sobbing wife

Upon arriving home, a husband was met at the door by his sobbing wife.
Tearfully she explained,

"It's the druggist. He insulted me terribly this morning on the phone.
I had to call multiple times before he would even answer the phone."

Immediately, the husband drove downtown to confront the druggist and
demand an apology.

Before he could say more than a word or two, the druggist told him,

"Now, just a minute, listen to my side of it. This morning the alarm
Failed to go off, so I was late getting up. I went without breakfast and
Hurried out to the car, just to realize that I'd locked the house with
both house and car keys inside and had to break a window to get my keys.

"Then, driving a little too fast, I got a speeding ticket. Later, when I
was about three blocks from the store, I had a flat tire."

"When I finally got to the store a bunch of people were waiting for me
to open up.
I got the store opened and started waiting on these people, all the time
The darn phone was ringing off the hook."

He continued, "Then I had to break a roll of nickels against the cash
Register drawer to make change, and they spilled all over the floor.
I had to get down on my hands and knees to pick up the nickels and
The phone was still ringing.
When I came up I cracked my head on the open cash drawer, which made
Me stagger back against a showcase with a bunch of perfume bottles on
it.
Half of them hit the floor and broke."

"Meanwhile, the phone is still ringing with no let up, and I finally got
Back to answer it. It was your wife. She wanted to know how to use a
Rectal thermometer.

And believe me mister, as God is my witness, all I did was tell her."

Thanks Randy
