The previous board chair, Jack Perraton, claimed a total of $434.01 in three and a half years.

Black is a Senator in waiting, the political gangsters in Parliament refuse to allow taxpayers to see the monies they squander on lavish lifestyles. Corruption and abuse is not limited to one party but is a culture of abuse of taxpayers dollars..... if, no when, Doug Black makes it to the Senate we will never find out how abusive he is ..... he will become one of many at the Senate and at the Member of Parliament level who abuse our tax dollars.

If Stephen Harper were truly interested in an open and accountable government he would legislate the release of our elected and appointed officials expenses.

Black claimed several first-class flights to Toronto, Vancouver and other cities. He also claimed nearly $1,300 for a two-night stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston and the same amount for two nights at Toronto’s Ritz Carleton.

The University of Calgary reimbursed Black for these expenses, and others, even though its policy only allows economy flights and standard rooms, Scott Hennig of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation said.

This is an example of how your Conservative supporter takes advantage of those with lesser influence.
